Juan Abellan- Andres

Dr Juan Jose Abellan is mathematician and statistician by training. He worked for several years as statistician for the Valencian Public Health Authority in Spain. He completed his PhD in statistics at the University of Valencia (2004) and was a post-doctoral research fellow in the Dpt. of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Imperial College London. In 2008 he joined the Centre for Public Health Research in Spain as a senior research scientist in biostatistics. In 2012 he joined Grünenthal where he currently works as Trial Biostatistician. Throughout his career he has been involved in several health-related research projects with strong focus in statistical methodological development and has wide experience in Bayesian statistics.
